DO WE TREAT OUR BODY LIKE A GOD OR A SLAVE? by Coach Silvia

I started to think about the great success of Barbie, the movie, and what her ideal meant for several generations, do you know that there is even a syndrome with her name?
"A person with Barbie syndrome tries to emulate the doll's physical appearance, even though the doll has unattainable body proportions."

Our body is something like a space capsule it has a sensor, a network of information, a set of communication systems: cardiovascular, respiratory, skeletal, autonomic and also emotional and intuitive.

Those who make time to understand and discover its wonders are something like those who deciphered the Rosetta stone.

The body has memory and everything we experience is recorded and marks our passage through this earth.

Therefore, to lower the beauty and value of our bodies for not being the image of fashion is to force the body to live without the spirit, the form and the joy that correspond to it.

Approving a single beauty is not understand nature.

There cannot be only one type of bird, tree, or dog, nor can there be only one type of child, man or woman, or a single size of chest, waist or skin color.

To live truly happy is to accept that the world is filled with many kinds of beauty.

To despise or negatively judge inherited physical appearance is to create generation after generation of anguished and neurotic people, taking away our pride in our ancestral lineage.

It is absolutely logical to keep ourselves healthy and strong looking for the best diet and physical condition, but not live conditioned by the readings of the scale and the tape measure.

Happiness is not achieved by having a certain size or age.

It is our decision to recover our true life and live it to the fullest.

This dynamic of self-acceptance and self-esteem are the means by which we can begin to change the attitudes of the culture in which we live.

START BY LOVING YOURSELF UNCONDITIONALLY, THE REST COMES ALONG!
